Montana High Country Adventures, Inc. Is operated by the owner of Montana Whitetails, Inc. Where we have access to thousands of private shed hunting grounds during late Winter into Springtime! It is well known through various outdoor television shows, outdoor magazines, and other publications that Montana, and in particular, the lush riparian areas and river bottom’s hold a tremendous amount of whitetail deer and other North American big game species such as the Shiras Moose, Black Bear, Mule Deer, and sometimes Elk will visit these lower agricultural rich valley’s!. However, whitetail deer are predominant on our 20,000 plus acres of private property we have access year round to provide a shed hunting experience that is both exciting, and educational! We’ll take you through some of the best whitetail deer habitat in this area that holds a large population of whitetail bucks which shed their antlers each year as early as late December through March depending on a variety of conditions.
A archery only buck hunting area roughly 8 miles in total length can offer not only quantity, but also quality whitetail shed antlers! Plus!...This area is one of the most beautiful, wildlife rich places to visit in the state of Montana! Come join us as we will hike you through these private river bottom ranches in search of shed antlers while taking time to evaluate the 100 plus tree stand sites we have set for our bow hunters each Fall. Travel though areas of the river bottom we don’t even get into until this time of year due to the nature of staying clear of bedding areas and low impact bow hunting these Montana trophy whitetail bucks! Tracking during the Fall may take us into some areas, but not most as we get to experience first hand the rutting sign left behind from the previous Fall, and it gets pretty exciting! |

Add good camaraderie, hands on work in the field such as setting stands and trimming shooting lanes, home cooked meals, and relaxing accommodations will give you an experience you will always take with you on your next quest for those big trophy whitetail bucks!
Come join us in one of the most whitetail rich areas in the country!...The best time to shed hunt here will be determined by the Winter snowfall, sometimes areas are open by late January and some areas not until March. For best conditions call during the shed hunting season to get an update on snow accumulation. Generally, anytime starting in March will provide plenty of areas to cover!

Will provide during your vacation the planning, organization, personal service, and transportation from our facility for your shed antler hunting trips in Montana while staying with us!... Any other activity or activities of interest can be added to your Montana vacation package during your stay, price for each is extra.
