We have enjoyed some beautiful weather through July here in Southwestern Montana! From warm sunny days to cool refreshing starlit nights we are blessed with something truly special here! With snowcapped mountains that kiss the pure blue skies early in the mornings to crystal clear alpine glacier lakes deep in the forests make adventures in Montana so memorable and cherished!
This July we had a great time as we experienced horseback riding with stunning views of the surrounding Yellowstone area as well as some exciting whitewater rafting on the Yellowstone River! These days can be filled with so much fun and anticipation while we plan your vacation to include as much as possible during your stay while also soaking in the sureal peacefulness that the state of Montana and this area in particular can offer you and it's visitor's.
Some of the things we enjoyed this month along with the paddle and saddle mentioned above where touring Yellowstone National Park and a fabulous Elk Island dinner cruise and BBQ cookout on Jackson Lake near the base of the Grand Tetons! Plus, sightseeing and photography, Lewis & Clark Caverns was extraordinary!...and well worth the 2 hour tour through this famous landmark while traversing underground caves up to 304' below the surface. It was an Incredible tour just seeing all the natural formations and stalagmites in the caverns along with the educational aspect of the tour.
To top off the trip here at the lodge we enjoyed special dinners and outdoor BBQ's, hiking around one of the gorgeous mountain lakes, late nights in the hot tub with a few drinks to relax and view the starlit nights! You may never see so many stars as here in Big Sky Country on a pitch black Summer night,...amazing!
