Yellowstone National Park is 96 miles South of our lodge and has a multitude of resources to experience while you visit, but one that is truly unique may be the back country Llama pack trips!...seriously! We’ll set you up with a licensed Llama outfitting company in Yellowstone National Park! Imagine yourself as you Pack your load on a Llama and explore the countryside with your long-eared hiking buddy at your side and beautiful trails ahead of you with opportunities for wildlife viewing, fishing, hiking, photography, and taking in the spectacular natural wonders of the park.
This trip is suited for children also and is a great family experience with a environmentally safe form of back county travel. View wildlife in their natural habitat as you and your sure footed creature gracefully traverse through Yellowstone Park.
Llamas were bred for thousands of years in South America to be pack animals before being used for recreational purposes. They are sure-footed animals that are well adapted to high altitudes and mountainous terrain, leaving almost no impact on Yellowstone’s fragile trails and ecosystem. These Llamas will carry tents, sleeping bags, food, clothing and other equipment. Best of all: anyone, including children, can lead a Llama after a few minutes of basic instruction. And no, these Llamas do not spit at people. They are charming, cooperative and hardworking trail companions that will help make this exceptional Yellowstone hiking and camping tour comfortable and unforgettable for you and your family during your Yellowstone Llama trek!

Yellowstone Llama packing trips in Montana while
staying with us!...cost of participating
in such activity per day for each individual is extra
and payable to the outfitter or business associate(s)
providing said activity or service. Any other activity
or activities of interest can be added to your Montana
vacation package during your stay, price for each is
extra.
Our Lodging Rates Include: 3 bedroom, 2 bath ranch home, plus all ranch home amenities listed on our lodging page.
Extra Services: We can provide free airport shuttle if necessary, or car rental options are available through Gallatin Field, Bozeman Airport (BZN). Additional fees may include all meals, planning, personal service, and all transportation provided during your stay to enjoy all your activities while you experience a Montana High Country Adventure with us! $150/day. State Lodging & Facility Use Taxes not included.

Note:
This package is split between two different places of lodging, we pick you up at the airport 1-2 days prior to your Yellowstone Llama packing trip, transport you to the accommodations for your 3 or 4 day Llama pack trip with our selected outfitter, then return you to our lodge for the remainder of your stay before we provide your transportation back to Bozeman airport.
