There are many activities to explore and one of the most exciting is snowmobiling through this beautiful Winter wonderland! Montana snowmobile trips through Yellowstone Park is an awesome way to Experience Winter thrills and adventure during your vacation with us! Due to reliable annual snowfall here in the high country of Southwestern Montana, you can bank on having one of the most exhilarating Winter family vacations ever! Take advantage of this unique Winter landscape of unparalleled beauty. Yellowstone and the surrounding area are comprised of many geologic and geothermal wonders such as the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone and Old Faithful.

We work in congruence with a company that is a licensed concessionaire of Yellowstone National Park and Gallatin National Forest to offer you a professional, safe, and enjoyable snowmobile tour package! They can offer you extensive trail systems through Yellowstone Park and also hundreds of miles of groomed snowmobile trails in Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming.

Daily professionally guided tours can be taken to Old Faithful Geyser Basin or the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. Experienced, friendly and knowledgeable guides will cater to your needs while enjoying geysers, mud pots, waterfalls, and canyons. Learn about the history, geology, geothermal activity, and folklore. In addition, there is a wide variety of wildlife including Bald Eagles, Bison, Wolves, Elk, Deer, Bear, and much more. You should get to see these animals and other natural wonders up close while enjoying your Montana snowmobile vacation into and around Yellowstone National Park.

Touring by snowmobile is very comfortable and enjoyable. Before you ride, you are taken through the operation of the sleds as well as the rules of the trails. What awaits you is an assortment of six model types ranging from Arctic Cat’s innovative line up of fan cooled snowmobiles to the deep snow performance of the Polaris RMKs. The environmentally friendly sleds are in compliance with rules set forth by Yellowstone National Park to operate inside the park boundaries and designed specifically to protect Yellowstone's pristine natural environment. They offer the Arctic Cat T660 4-stroke which is the cleanest, quietest, and most luxurious snowmobile ever produced. Features include: adjustable backrest, electric start, reverses, mirrors, accommodates single or double riders and have heated seats!

Clothing Rentals are available: High quality outerwear package includes: One piece insulated jump suit by Cabela's and SnoRider, HJC helmet with full face visor, Polar Tech face mask, mittens, and the best (warmest) boots for rent in town (the Sorrel Caribou). Full clothing package is $15.00 per day, or you may rent each item separately for $5.00 per item per day. 

Collision Agreement: $10.00 per day per snowmobile.

*You must have a valid driver's license in your procession to rent or operate snowmobiles with this company. There are no age restrictions or licensing requirements for passenger.

Personalized and private guided tours : Are also available into surrounding areas for additional costs. There are over 500 miles of well-marked, groomed trails beyond Yellowstone National Park's borders, on the Gallatin and Targhee National Forests. This snowmobile trail system is one of the most extensive, easy to navigate trail systems available to recreational snowmobiles world-wide, and visitors may choose to ride by themselves or accompanied by a licensed, professional guide.

Snowmobile rental includes: 570cc snowmobile with electric start and reverse, 1 tank of fuel (from our gas pumps only) per rental day, complete set of our high quality outer wear rental clothing (HJC helmet with full face visor, Polar Tech face mask, mittens, one-piece SnoRider/Cabela Suit and the warmest Sorrel Caribou boots).

Things you may want to bring along
Drivers' licenses are required to be in your possession at all times, even if you are not driving, especially the young drivers; annual National Park pass or Senior Citizen Park pass, if you own one (otherwise you may purchase day passes during your day trip).; money for lunch, or bring your own lunch, light snacks, and bottled water or juice; sunglasses; sunscreen; chapstick; camera and film; cell-phone; chemical foot and hand warmers; and ski gloves (we rent mittens but many people are more comfortable in their own gloves).

Montana High Country Adventures, Inc. can provide during your vacation the planning, organization & personal service for your Winter Yellowstone Park snowmobile trips in Montana while staying with us!...cost of participating in such activity per day for each individual is extra, example: snowmobile rental, riding gear, etc., and payable to the outfitter or business associate(s) providing said activity or service. Any other activity or activities of interest can be added to your Montana vacation package during your stay, price for each activity is extra.

Season Dates - December - March

Our Lodging Rates Include: 3 bedroom, 2 bath ranch home, plus all ranch home amenities listed on our lodging page.

Extra Services: We can provide free airport shuttle if necessary, or car rental options are available through Gallatin Field, Bozeman Airport (BZN). Additional fees may include all meals, planning, personal service, and all transportation provided during your stay to enjoy all your activities while you experience a Montana High Country Adventure with us! $150/day. State Lodging & Facility Use Taxes not included.

Approximate Price depending on package: $139.00 Double riding per day.
Approximate Price depending on package: $129.00 single rider for guided tours. 

*Yellowstone Park Guide fee additional — add $50.00 per snowmobile

Note: Yellowstone National Park charges $20.00 per snowmobile entrance fee unless you already have a current annual National Park Pass in your possession. Passes can be purchased during your day trip.
