Wildlife photography and viewing vacations in Montana offers a truly enjoyable family or individual experience! Montana's diversity of landscape and habitat leads to a diversity and abundance of wildlife. From the high country mountain ranges dotted with aspen groves and coniferous forests of Western Montana to the rolling prairies of Eastern Montana, animals sightings are everywhere. It is well known that there are more animals inhabiting the Big Sky State than people! Our location in the lush and agricultural rich Shields River Valley offers a tremendous opportunity to view and photograph wildlife with stunning scenery as a backdrop to make any photographer envious! This unique proximity where we are located in Montana's lowland streams and river bottom habitat, filled with irrigated agriculture, towering cottonwoods, beautiful aspen groves, and thick willow shrubs, you're sure to see an abundant and diverse wildlife population! This habitat is less than one percent of the land in Montana, but amazingly, it supports more than half of the state's wild species. And it’s right outside our door...literally! We have access to over 20,000 acres of private property! Plus over 1 million acres of public land within a short drive from our lodge for your wildlife viewing pleasure!

Your wildlife viewing and photography trip can be experienced by spending the day hiking or traveling by means of 4 X 4 transportation to areas where these animals inhabit more frequently. Our Montana wildlife and photography opportunities we have available during your vacation with us is sure to be an adventure your photographs won’t let you forget about for years to come! There are a lot of people who come to Montana to experience this great outdoor recreational activity...and for good reason! Montana has some of the largest populations of wild animals in the country and viewing them in their natural habitat is a rewarding experience! Whitetail Deer, Mule Deer, Antelope, Elk, Bald Eagles, Shiras Moose, Black Bear, Coyotes, Sand Hill Cranes, Richardson Ground Squirrels, jack rabbits, turkey, waterfowl, bobcats, wolverines, Hungarian partridge, pheasant, ruffed grouse, beavers, and varies types of song birds and hawks can be viewed within a short distance from our lodge, and quite frankly, sometimes in the back yard! Or take advantage of some of the high country hiking trails to expand your photo and wildlife viewing opportunities! We can direct you to 100's of hiking trails and arrange everything from planning your hike, trail maps, to providing you with food and drinks for your Montana high country photography adventure!

Montana High Country Adventures, Inc. will provide during your vacation the planning, organization, personal service, and transportation from our facility for your wildlife viewing and photography trips in Montana while staying with us!...Any other activity or activities of interest can be added to your Montana vacation package during your stay, price for each is extra.

Adult: $150 Per Day
Family Rates: $175 Per Day (up to 4)
Group Rates: $195 Per Day (5 or more)

You can customize your Montana trip to include other activities such as fly fishing trips, whitewater rafting trips, etc... Cost is extra depending on activity. Call for details.
